Volunteer Auto-Expiration
Volunteers (newly added and renewing) are given a total of 75 days (30 days before their due date and a 45-day grace period after the due date) to complete these screenings before they’re expired from the roster.
Volunteers who do not have the following screenings complete will automatically be expired after the 75 day period:
- Criminal Background Check
- Faith & Conduct
- Confidentiality Agreement & Data Security Training
- Child Safety Training
Upcoming Timeline
- December 1, 2025 – Volunteers not renewed in October were removed from area rosters.
- December 3-4, 2025 – Final warning emails sent to volunteers at risk of being expired (i.e. needing to complete one or more course).
- January 12, 2026 – Volunteers with courses 45+ days (due on/before Nov 28, 2025) will begin to be automatically expired.
This volunteer expiration process will be ongoing and the system will continually look for, and expire, volunteers who are out of compliance (those who are 45 days overdue on the screenings listed above).
Staff may re-add expired volunteers. When a volunteer is re-added, screenings that haven’t expired will still show up as complete.
Screening Report
There is a new U.S. Field Screening Report that gives staff the ability to see all volunteers from their area(s) at once and along with the status of screenings. It is much easier than having to click through each individual volunteer to see what screening is complete.
This Field Screening Report can be accessed through the Compliance Tab. Click on your mission unit in Salesforce and then the compliance section will show!

Here’s a snapshot of what the Field Screening Report looks like:

Don’t hesitate to reach out to Beth or Katie if you have questions or the Connections Team if you have a volunteer with log-in/screening issues.
