What we cover

• Year-end funding and giving strategy, start to finish
• How to do major donor fundraising in an area
• How to cast vision with donors for what’s ahead
• How to build a real strategy for each key donor rather than a one-size-fits-all ask
• Hands-on help implementing an area’s year-end plan, including the materials coming from Marketing

Our aim is simple: help areas treat year-end fundraising like any other major event on their calendar – planned for, staffed, and worked ahead of time – instead of something that happens to them in December.

The details

• Format: 5 monthly sessions over Zoom (September – January)
• Dates:
  • Session 1: September 1st at 11am MST  or September 9th at 6pm MST
  • Session 2: October 6th at  11am MST  or October 14th at 6pm MST
  • Session 3: November 10th at 11am MST or November 11th at 6pm MST
  • Session 4: December 1st at 11am MST or December 9th at 6pm MST
  • Final Session: January 12th at 11am MST
• Cost: $100 per area
• Who can attend: as many people from the area as want to come (all under that same $100). We encourage staff to bring committee members with them.

A note on the cost: if an area is in deficit, or if $100 is a hardship in any way, we’ll cover it. Just let us know – no explanation needed. We never want the fee to be the reason an area misses this.
